Religious Education has a significant role to play in the life of a learning community here at Salesian College.
Apart from the academic dimension, Religious Education curriculum has
an explicit spiritual dimension, fostering personal development through
an integrated faith formation context where students are readily
engaged in prayer, reconciliation and Eucharistic celebration.
Our aim is to impart to our students a sound Catholic education based
on the values and teachings of Jesus Christ, as contained both in the
Gospels and in the modern educational principles of Saint John Bosco.
St John Bosco’s way of educating is founded upon the principles of
reason, religion and loving kindness and is centered around the
Eucharistic table where this Christian character is celebrated and
encourages a deep devotion to Mary, Help of Christians.
