Saint Mary MacKillop was the co-founder of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of the Sacred Heart in 1886 it was Australia’s first religious order dedicated to the education of poor children. Mary MacKillop’s order continues its work today with hundreds of sisters in Australia, New Zealand and Peru. Salesian College Sunbury has been blessed by the presence of the Sisters of St Joseph (the Josephites) in our College.
